Alterations and Extension to Listed Building

A Gabled extension to a listed property, providing a family sized kitchen, utility room, new family room, bedroom and study. The design takes into account the rural feel of the surrounding area and works to emulate existing vernacular styles, by adopting the materiality of the original build and by following existing forms and patterns. The extension provides a more comfortable living space for a family, whilst the design minimises any impact on the surrounding properties and context.

Solar panels were installed on the south side of the roof to provide a sustainable solution for hot water supply. These were also shielded from neighbouring views.
