Murray Edwards College Maisonettes

AC Architects Cambridge Ltd have designed two new flats to provide convenient accommodation for Fellows of Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. Each of the two maisonettes provides a double bedroom with study area on the first floor with living/dining room, kitchen and shower room on the ground floor. The development is super insulated with solar thermal hot water heating and rainwater harvesting. The 'outbuilding' design aesthetic contrasts the modern zinc roof with traditional gault brickwork.
