Waiting room
Centre 33
Cambridge
AC Architects remodelled and extended the city centre offices of a local charity.

The works involved creating a more welcoming waiting room for visitors, whilst providing better security and draught proofing in the lobby area. The rear office has been re-planned to create a larger consulting room. At first floor, construction of a light weight rear extension with a cat slide dormer has provided an additional office off the new enlarged office space. Insulating and strengthening of the loft provide additional space for archive storage.

By strategic forward planning the centre was able to maintain its use and service to the public throughout the works.
