Conservation Projects

AC Architects Cambridge Ltd successfully bring together respect for our historic buildings and their environments with energy efficiency. We specialise in the repair, conversion and extension of historic building and their settings. Working with historically important buildings and on conservation areas requires careful analysis, design and workmanship. We achieve this through close attention to detail with the aim of complementing existing buildings and using the best of traditional and, where appropriate, modern materials. Work is designed and specified in a manner that will preserve the features of the building and site and avoid devaluing it through inappropriate or harmful measures.

We have good working relationships with English Heritage, Local Planning and Conservation Officers, and Archaeology Departments.
